In this cyclical fever dream, a woman struggles to win over the crowd.

Straight 8 is a competition in which filmmakers must make a whole film in one reel of Super 8mm, in sequence, without any post-production. The soundtrack is made ‘blind’, and synced from the first frame; the first time I saw this film was at it’s premiere in Cannes.
